Can you Feel it?

On groundstrokes, the ball stays on the racquet a few milliseconds.

Your tactile sensation is very short.

But accelerating your hand and racquet, the longer the feel seems to be.  It is also longer if you brush the ball.

Find the ball slowly, then accelerate your hand and racquet with only the finish in mind and you’ll simplify the action.

Let your instinct dictate racquet angle, both horizontal angle for placement, and vertical angle for height over the net.

Don’t worry about too many factors.  Balance is a feel as well.  Your body should be helping you instinctively to execute your stroke.
