Cone Drill

A good practice that develops natural speed is to place a cone in the middle of the back-court, have someone feed you wide balls and run around the cone after every shot.

The feeding person should give you time to turn around the cone and then pressure you into accelerating your body as if trying to catch the ball.

Turn naturally, going first behind the cone (between cone and back fence) and then to the front, and just run across the court in the most natural way.
